Abstract
Congenital nasopharyngeal abnormalities are infrequent and usually associated with impaired embryogenesis. The most informative diagnostic methods are endoscopic examination of the nasopharynx, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging of the nasopharynx and brain, and biopsy with histological examination. Contact laser surgery is an optimal treatment option for nasopharyngeal cysts since it can remove them rapidly, bloodlessly, and reliably.
