Abstract
Diabetes mellitus has an enhanced susceptibility to infections. An open-label comparative randomized study has shown the efficiency of fusafungine (Bioparox) therapy for acute respiratory infections in reducing the duration of the disease, the quantity of used drugs, and the frequency of systemic antibacterial therapy, which is particularly important for diabetic patients.
