Abstract

The results of a questionnaire survey were studied in 287 adolescent schoolchildren (109 boys and 178 girls) aged 14-18 years. The questionnaire contained a list of questions to elucidate their histories of syncope (presyncope), the nature of trigger factors, and the clinical features of a syncopal episode, by identifying pre- and postsyncopal periods, and syncope proper.
