The comparative analysis showed that Osteomed forte proved to be more effective than calcium carbonate made by a foreign manufacturer and strontium ranelate in treating postmenopausal osteoporosis. An X-ray absorption technique was used to determine bone mineral density and the size of cavitary masses in the patients; the treatment cycle lasted 10 months.
