The Moscow Region’ practice of the diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) was analyzed. Comparative analysis of the results of routine examination and real-time polymerase chain reaction (Amplisens) examination that could simultaneously identify a few STIs additional revealed a considerable number of patients with gonococcal, Chlamydia, and Trichomonas infections.
