Abstract

The topical application of ibuprofen (Dolgit®) as cream and gel provides an optimal drug concentration in the adjacent tissues in the immediate vicinity of a pathological focus, which is most important in musculoskeletal injuries (bruises, sprains of the capsular-ligament apparatus) and in patients with postoperative bone and joint diseases, which allows the drug to be recommended for the combination treatment of musculoskeletal diseases and injuries in individuals of different age groups.
