PERIPHERAL NERVE AND SKELETAL MUSCLE INJURIES IN THE PRESENCE OF CHRONIC ALCOHOL INTOXICATION

Abstract

The paper describes a case of concomitant peripheral nerve and skeletal muscle injuries in a 51-year-old female patient with chronic alcohol intoxication. A comprehensive examination was performed to reveal the leading pathogenetic mechanisms of neuromuscular disorders. Pathogenetic treatment for alcoholic polyneuropathy is considered.
