Abstract

The diversity of the forms and variants of panniculitis (a group of heterogeneous inflammatory diseases of the subcutaneous fat) requires a careful examination to verify the diagnosis. Scleromyxema is one of the conditions, which should be differentially diagnosed from idiopathic panniculitis.
