Abstract

The paper considers the main causes and risk factors of chronic postoperative groin pain (CPGP), one of the most important indicators of a result of surgical treatment for inguinal hernias, which directly affects quality of life in patients in the postoperative period. The authors present their experience in preventing the development of CPGP.
