Eating disorders (EDs) are the complex problem which requires united efforts of psychiatrist and physicians of other specialties. Diuretic abuse is common in EDs, but it is only one of the aspects of their somatic complications. Treatment of diuretic abuse includes gradual drug withdrawal with monitoring of patients’ mental and somatic state.
