The role of radiofrequency ablation in the treatment was assessed in 41 patients with liver metastases from colorectal cancer. The immediate and late results of treatment and the impact of the number and sizes of hepatic foci on its late results were studied. Three- and five-year overall survival was 32,4 and 16,2%, respectively. The worst prognosis was noted in patients with 6 hepatic foci or more and with those measuring more than 5 cm.
