Osteoarthritis is a frequent degenerative disease of the articular cartilage with interest the actual bones. Risk factors include genetics, obesity, female gender, advanced age, previous injury. Diagnosis is based on history and radiographic findings. Laboratory studies have shown only for differential diagnosis. The clinical picture is reduced to restrict movements of pain, joint deformity. The nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, including topical administration (dolgit = ibuprofen) are recommended as symptomatic therapy.
