Abstract

The review of literature is presented about muscle pain in response to physical activity, which is quite common. There is an opinion that the muscle pain that occurs after intense physical activity is a precursor of muscle remodeling. Clinical manifestations of muscle pain after exercise are described, possible mechanisms of its occurrence are studied, methods of prevention and treatment of muscle soreness are analyzed.
