Abstract
Chemical composition, mechanical properties, and hardenability analysis performed for cones and legs of domestic and imported rock bits up to 150,0 mm diameter. Steel grades identification of cones and legs of rock bits produced by leading foreign companies has been conducted. Recommendations for application of analogs of foreign steels for legs and cones of rock bits produced by domestic companies have been provided.
