Abstract

The possibility of application of single-port information sockets at construction of structured cable systems is considered. Economic aspects of using such a solution are discussed, its technical feasibility is substantiated and the increasing role of adapters in transition to such a scheme is demonstrated. It is concluded that it is possible to start mass application of single-port sockets in projects in the medium term − after 2035.
