Abstract
Рассмотрены особенности развития и течения сахарного диабета типа 2 (СД2) у мужчин. Подчеркивается, что у мужчин СД2 очень часто является компонентом метаболического синдрома и сочетается с гипогонадизмом. Поэтому при наличии данных нарушений наряду с традиционными методами терапии СД2 (диета, физическая активность, метформин) необходима одновременная коррекция гипогонадизма, позволяющая улучшить контроль диабета. Также указывается, что при наличии инсулинозависимого СД наилучшим способом достижения его оптимальной компенсации является использование дозаторов инсулина - инсулиновых помп.
