Abstract

The article presents the data for the common infection of the womans genital tract - vulvovaginal candidiasis (etiology, risk factors, route of infection, diagnosis and treatment). Butokonazole nitrate (Ginofort) in the form of cream for intravaginal use is recommended as the drug of choice for the treatment of uncomplicated vulvovaginal candidiasis.
