Abstract

Lower back Pain (LBP) is a very common disease with negative consequences for the patient and for society as a whole. In the treatment of LBP, rapid and effective pain relief is fundamental principle, primarily for the prevention the chronization of process. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are the most often used class of drugs for the pain management. Ketoprofen (Ketonal) is a NSAID available in parenteral and tablet form, which has potent analgetic action, and its efficacy and safety in the treatment of severe and moderate pain are well understood and confirmed in several studies.
