Abstract

The article presents data on calcium metabolism in the human body, the features of metabolism of certain of macronutrients and vitamins during physiological and complicated pregnancy with an emphasis on increasing the risk of osteoporosis (OP) when receiving heparin, glucocorticosteroids. The calcium supplements and vitamin D are main drugs for the treatment and prevention of OP; diet, physical training and sports are recommended.
