Abstract

Based on the review of the current literature, some information on the etiology, pathogenesis and diagnosis of scabies and pediculosis is provided. Special attention is paid to the problem of their treatment. Antiscabietic and anti-pediculosis drugs most often used in medical practice are discussed. The important role of disinfection and anti-epidemic measures in the treatment of scabies and pediculosis is emphasized.
