Resumo

Obstructed defecation syndrome is a fairly common condition that requires an individual approach to the patient and the broader view on the problem of chronic constipation. Complex pathogenesis imposes need for detailed examination with the assistance of specialists oriented to the pelvic descension syndrome and dysfunction of the pelvic organs. Conservative treatment of obstructive defecation is a very important stage that requires long-term use of drugs and the use of techniques for the restoration of function of the pelvic organs (in particular, posterior pelvic floor).
