Abstract

Treatment of lower back pain is carried out with regard to the form of the disease and is primarily aimed to reduction and then complete relief of pain. In most patients with acute lower back pain, only symptomatic treatment is justified. For the treatment of vertebral pain syndromes, revellents (analgesic and anti-inflammatory) - ointments, liniments, and balms - are commonly used. Ointments based on bee venom have a good therapeutic effect. Apisarthron is analgesic ointment based on bee venom with warming effect.
