Abstract

The article presents the results of a comparative study of additional methods of diagnosis of premature rupture of fetal membranes. Based on these data, the effectiveness of the rapid test based on the identification of placental α-microglobulin in the vaginal secretion compared with the complex of methods of diagnosis (nitrasin pH test, ferning with a native smear microscopy), traditionally used in suspected premature rupture of fetal membranes, is proved.
