Abstract

The article presents the substantiation of the relationship of laryngitis, chronic cough and asthma with gastroesophageal reflux disease. An approach to the diagnosis of extraesophageal syndromes is considered. The evidence base and an algorithm for the treatment of extraesophageal manifestations of gastroesophageal reflux disease are analyzed and discussed.
