Abstract
In recent years, the number of visits of patients with back pain and neck pain in health care institutions increased significantly. In most cases, back pain is caused by nonspecific degenerative changes in musculoskeletal system (spondylarthritis, osteoarthritis, osteochondrosis). Fundamentally new class of drugs for the treatment of pain syndromes, including back pain, is selective neuronal potassium channel openers - SNEPCO. One of representatives of this class of drugs is flupirtine (Nolodatak) - non-opioid analgesic that has antispastic effect on striated muscles.
