Abstract

This article presents data on the safety, mechanisms of probiotic action of bifidobacteria BB-12. The data of clinical trials studying the effectiveness of the use of probiotic strains of bifidobacteria in the nutrition of adults and young children are described. The information about the infant food enriched with bifidobacteria BB-12 is presented. The questions of the inclusion of probiotic strains of BB-12 bifidobacteria in the domestic infant products are discussed.
