The article presents the review of clinical trials and meta-analyzes for the evaluation of the efficacy of leukotriene receptor antagonists in the treatment of allergic diseases: bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis, and allergic skin diseases. Montelukast is the well-studied drug of this class with optimal pharmacokinetics; it is included in the top ten drugs in 2015.
