Polymorphic dermatosis of pregnant women: a modern view of the problem

Abstract

The article summarizes and presents information about polymorphic dermatosis of pregnant women based on literature data and personal practical experience. Women with a similar disease are often consult a dermatovenereologist and an obstetrician - gynecologist. More often, primiparas suffer from polymorphic dermatosis of pregnant women. The review highlights the main components of pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, differential diagnosis and modern methods of treatment of dermatosis. Interdisciplinary communication between dermatovenereologists, obstetrician-gynecologists and neonatal pediatricians is crucial in the management of severe cases of polymorphic dermatosis of pregnant women.
