Аннотация

Currently, pain management is regarded as one of the most fundamental human rights. Pain affects the quality of life, negatively affects family relationships, can lead to disability or loss of productivity, and is associated with high costs for health care system and society as a whole. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are the most popular class of drugs used as analgesics, especially when the pain is determined by the presence of tissue damage or inflammation. Ketorolac is NSAID available in parenteral, tablet and gel forms, which has potent analgesic effect, and its efficacy and safety in acute pain syndromes are well studied in numerous studies.
