Аннотация

Abnormal uterine bleeding is one of the most common problems in gynecology and one of the main symptoms of diseases of the female genital organs, that dictates their medical and social significance. The article presents the results of the study, which allowed to access the structure of abnormal uterine bleeding with the use of a new FIGO classification system (PALM-COEIN). These data justify the suitability and usability of this classification, and the possibility of its use in daily practice.
