FOXBERRY (Vaccinium vitis idaea L.)

Resumo

The article presents data for foxberry, evergreen plant, which is wide-spread in nature. Due to the multiple benefits, foxberry (predominantly leaves) is used in medicine as a drug raw material, and berries also are eaten. The mechanisms of action and indications for use of foxberry-based drugs are discussed.
