Resumo
The article considers the biological properties of bacteriophages as well as data on their structure, varieties, and mechanisms of action. The information on the preparations of bacteriophages against pathogens of intestinal infections, such as intesti-bacteriophage liquid, polyvalent dysenteric bacteriophage, salmonella bacteriophage, typhoid bacteriophage, and bacteriophage coli -Proteus liquid are presented. The safety, stability and specificity of bacteriophages and their preparations are emphasized.
