Аннотация
Сахарный диабет типа 2 (СД2) опасен тяжелыми осложнениями, приводящими к высокой инвалидизации и снижению качества жизни. Предотвращение сосудистых осложнений - важная задача современной медицины. В связи с этим большое значение приобретают результаты исследований, касающихся обеспечения целевых значений гликемии при СД2. Обсуждаются фармакологических характеристики, механизмы действия, вопросы эффективности и безопасности производных сульфонилмочевины. Подчеркивается, что применение современных препаратов сульфонилмочевины способствуют достижению основных целей лечения СД - обеспечению долгосрочного метаболического контроля и предотвращению или отсрочке развития сосудистых осложнений.
