Аннотация

Рассматриваются патогенетические взаимосвязи двух распространенных заболеваний - остеоартроза (ОА) и метаболического синдрома (МС). Приводятся данные о роли медиаторов воспаления, в т. ч. адипокинов в развитии повреждения суставного хряща. Наличие МС и его отдельных составляющих является фактором риска развития ОА различных суставов, в первую очередь для женщин и лиц азиатской расы, а частота МС выше у пациентов с ОА. Данная корреляция способствует поиску общих терапевтических подходов к этим заболеваниям.
