Khondroprotektory v terapii patsientov s degenerativno-distroficheskimi porazheniyami pozvonochnika

The study was aimed to investigation of the influence of the drug Chondrogard on the pain severity of in patients with lumbar-sacral osteochondrosis. The study included 64 patients with pain in the lumbosacral spine. The patients were divided into two groups: study group and control group. The study group had received Chondrogard in addition to the standard therapy; control group had received only standard therapy. Neurological and orthopedic examination was performed at admission on day patient department, during the course of therapy, at discharge, and 3 weeks after discharge. The findings lead to the following conclusion: the inclusion of chondropro-tector Chondrogard in the treatment of lumbosacral osteochondrosis, at the beginning of treatment using paravertebral injections and then intramuscular injections, allows to effectively reduce the pain severity.
