История изучения менингококковой инфекции и бактериальных менингитов (1661-1961 гг.)

Аннотация

В историческом обзоре рассмотрены наиболее важные вехи в исследованиях менингококковой инфекции и бактериальных менингитов в 1661-1961 гг. От эпохи к эпохе показано развитие представлений об этиологии гнойных менингитов, их эпидемиологии и клинике, прогресс диагностических методов и методов лечения. Дана краткая характеристика основных исследователей и врачей, внесших существенный вклад в борьбу с менингококковой инфекцией.
