Abstract
Over the last 20 years, liquid chromatography has become one of the most used methods for the investigation of natural and synthetic colorants in various objects. It is very important to control the content of azo dyes, based on phenanthrenequinone and hydrazine derivatives, which can potentially have a negative impact on human health. This article is devoted to the possibility of chromatographic separation of some azo dyes based on carbo- and heterocyclic alpha-dicarbonyl compounds. Optimal conditions for the analysis (solvents, eluent and its flow rate, temperature, wavelength) are selected; detection limits and linear ranges of determination of the studied compounds are established.
