Causes and outcomes of severe acute kidney injury in the Chuvash Republic in 2018-2019

Abstract

The current concept of acute kidney injury (AKI) and its criteria were adopted in 2012. The prevalence, etiology and outcomes of dialysis-dependent AKI remain unclear According to the results of the work of the dialysis department of the Republican Clinical Hospital for 2018-2019 in Chuvashia, the prevalence and causes of dialysis-dependent AKI were estimated. The outcomes of dialysis-dependent AKI are analyzed.
