Resumo

The aim of the study was to determine the relationship of soluble suppression of tumorigenicity 2 (sST2) with the diagnostic characteristics of patients with chronic heart failure. The data obtained may indicate a pathogenetic relationship between sST2 and systolic and diastolic dysfunction of the left ventricle, as well as dysfunction of the right heart.
