Abstract
Epidemiological study of distribution of oncological pathology according to St.Petersburg Population Cancer Register revealed connection between oncopathology and diabetes mellitus (15183 patients with diabetes mellitus were studied). The most distributed oncopathology in patients with diabetes mellitus was prostate cancer, bronchopulmonary carcinoma, stomach cancer, skin tumors and colon cancer (males) and lacteal gland cancer, uterus cancer, skin tumors, colon cancer and stomach cancer (females). It is suggested that the parallel preventive events may be to decrease oncopathology and diabetes mellitus.
