Temperature measurements in combustion of counter jets in burner devices

Bazhaykin A.N., Baev V.K., Gulyaev I.P.

Abstract

The investigation of propane-butane counter jets combustion in burners with permeable walls was carried out. The effect of addition of silicon oxide, zircon and carbon powder on combustion regime and temperature of free counter jets was investigated. Temperature measurements were implemented using registration of jets radiation in visible spectral range by means of spectral pyrometry and spectroscopic approaches. The burner devices with permeable porous pipes were demonstrated to be promising for broadening parameters range of stable combustion and increasing energy density in fuel combustion systems.

Optical measurement and analysis of microstructure of wave combustion in Ni-Al

Dolmatov A.V., Pinchuk M.V., Sergeychev A.V.

Abstract

In this paper study the microstructure of the wave self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) to find the relationship between the rate of the reaction front, the characteristic size of foci and the combustion temperature. Measure the dynamics of the temperature field SHS process was carried out using of the original optical complex of micropyrometer with a spatial resolution of 5.9 mkm and a speed of recording up to 10,000 frames per second. A method of analysis of thermal data implemented on the basis of ergodic model of the wave regime SHS and MATLAB. In the experiment is varied composition Ni-Al and its initial temperature. The experiment results approximated of the quadratic dependence of the rate of the front reaction on the hearth size, and inverse dependence of the hearth size on combustion temperature and initial temperature of the reaction mixture.

Modeling the dynamics of flying organisms

Martynov S.I., Tkach L.Y.

Abstract

Based on previously developed methods of calculating the dynamics of hydrodynamically interacting particles proposed models of swimming microorganisms by creating moments of the internal forces of the vortex flow in the surrounding body of a viscous liquid. Formed vortex flow creates a hydrodynamic force, as a result of which the body moves forward.

Plasma spraying of wear-resistant coatings from powdered self-fluxing alloys

Kuzmin V.I., Vaschenko S.P., Gulyaev I.P., Kartaev E.V., Sergachev D.V., Kornienko E.E., Dolmatov A.V.

Abstract

The thermo-physical and technological investigations of effectiveness of high-temperature heterogeneous flow formation and spraying of coatings from self-fluxing Ni-based powders using of unit of annular injection of powders with gas-dynamic focusing were carried out. The size of particles of metal powders was 40...100 μm. The temperature distributions of particles at the spraying distance measured by means of spectral pyrometry are presented. The results of obtained coatings morphology and microhardness are presented, the mechanism of their phase structure formation are analyzed.
