Abstract

Possibility of structurally-resonant therapy (SRT) application on 108 patients with an ischemic stroke is studied. Research has shown that SRT use a combination with the traditional treatment in neurology has advantage in comparison with the standard therapy alone. This method allows to achieve improvement of laboratory indicators, restoration of pelvis functions up to 75% of patients already in first three days.Method increases patients mobility, their independence in an everyday life, improves quality of life.

Abstract

The results of comprehensive study of kidneys and upper urinary tract uro-ultrasonographic data in174 chronic patients after spinal cord injury (SCI) are presented. It shows that neurourological pathological changes are frequently supported by uroinfection, firstly pyelonephritis (32%). Nephrolithiasis was diagnosed in 11,5% patients. Concrement's minimal diameter was diagnosed in 19% with their self-discharge in 12,6%. Varying degrees of hydronephrosis was diagnosed in 17,2% and cysts in 7%. The frequency/severity of neurourological changes depends on the time after SCI, the degree of neurological deficit, type of urinary excretion and pressure sores.

VITAMINS AND MINERALS AS AN ALTERNATIVES TO REDUCE THE SYMPTOMS OF MENOPAUSE AFTER OOPHORECTOMY IN WOMEN OVER 45 YEARS OLD

Levakov S.A., Kedrova A.G., Vanke N.S., Kozhurina E.V., Kaganovskaya L.M.

Abstract

Menopause is an unavoidable change that every woman will experience, assuming she reaches middle age and beyond. An early menopause can be related to the surgical removal of the uterus and/or both ovaries. The article presents the main evaluation of the clinical severity and characteristics of the menopausal syndrome after oophorectomy. Our experience has shown that vitamins and minerals, as an alternative to hormone replacement therapy reduces the severity of menopause symptoms. They play a central role in many body processes for menopausal women. Studies have linked it to preventing heart disease, osteoporosis, diabetes, cancer and weight gain. If that seems like a lot of prevention in one little vitamin, it is. The problem, though, is that as many as half of adults are deficient in vitamines and minerals and are therefore their minimum dose is not benefiting. Therefore, initiation of therapy always requires high doses of vitamins and minerals.

Chupin A.V., Kolosov R.V., Zaitsev M.V., Parshin P.Y., Orekhov P.Y., Deryabin S.V., Kemezh Y.V., Sitnikov A.V., Lebedev D.P.
