In this paper a study to establish the frequency of hepatitis C virus (HCV) among TB patients, to identify possible ways of transmission of HCV, the definition of the social characteristics of these patients clinical course and the effectiveness of TB treatment in patients with this co-infection. It is shown that TB patients are high risk of contracting HCV-infection, the prevalence of which among them is 2 times higher than in the general population (0.0047% vs. 0.090%), while the number of patients with chronic hepatitis C in a tuberculosis hospital is 5, 5%. High HCV infection with tuberculosis predetermines the necessity of strict compliance with anti-epidemic hospital for possible infection with hepatitis C.
