Urodynamics of lower urinary tract in patients with diabetic cystopathy
Abstract
The aim of the study was to evaluate the urodynamic parameters in patients with diabetic cystopathy. The 70 patients with type 2 diabetes (mean age 63.3 ± 4.2 years) were included in the study. Urodynamic disorders were found in 61 (87.1 %) patients. In 32 (45.7%) patients were increased contractile activity and / or sensitivity of the bladder, in 29 (41.4 %) —the contractile activity and/or sensitivity of the bladder were decreased. It was found that the nature of urodynamic disorders depended on the duration of diabetes: detrusor hypoactivity was detected in patients with a longer history of diabetes than detrusor

Complications prophylaxis in extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy in patients with nephrolithiasis
Abstract
The aim of the study was to improve the results of extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) by preventing the complications of the treatment. Therefore the fitodrug “Porlit-septo” (Indonesia) was given to the patients before performing ESWL. It was found out that this drug significantly reduces the time of the fragments discharge from the urinary tract, reduces the frequency of renal colic, and decreases the likelihood of an active inflammatory process in the kidney after ESWL

Experience of application ofphotodynamic therapy in the combined treatment of superficial bladder cancer
Abstract
The aim of the study was to evaluate the efficacy of photodynamic therapy and transurethral resection in the combined treatment of 36 patients with superficial bladder cancer. As a photosensitizer was used Photoditazine in average dose of 0.8 mg/kg body weight. Exposure time was from 12 to 48 minutes. Tumor recurrence in the first 12 months after treatment was observed in 4 (11.1 %) patients, which is regarded by us as a perfectly acceptable

Evaluating the effectiveness of Tranexam by transurethral resection of the prostate in patients with BPH
Abstract
214 patients with BPH who underwent transurethral resection of the prostate were observed. Patients in Group 1 (n = 121) was administered Tranexam that containins fibrinolysis inactivator tranexamic acid. Tranexam administered orally once before surgery at a dose of 1 g per day and at the day of operation intravenously 15 mg/kg body weight every 8 hours. The control group 2 (n = 93) did not take Tranexam. There were found that patients in Group 1 compared to the 2nd group had significantly less time of postoperative hematuria (4.6 ± 0.3 h and 18.6 ± 1.3 h, respectively). The value of intraoperative blood loss in patients in the two groups did not differ

THE PROGNOSTIC VALUE OF IMPAIREDDETRUSOR CONTRACTILITY ATTHE OPERATIVE TREATMENT OF THE PATIENTS WITH BENIGN PROSTATIC HYPERPLASIA
Abstract
Impaired detrusor contractility may be the cause of disorders of urination in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Meanwhile, there is still no single point of view on the clinical value of determination of the detrusor contractility at the examination of BPH patients. The review discusses the results of the research devoted to determine the prognostic value impaired detrusor contractility for determining the indications for the surgical BPH treatment and prevention of its poor results

Liquid tumors of the retroperitoneum: diagnosis and treatment
Abstract
The lecture is about diagnosis and treatment of liquid tumors of retroperitoneal organs. Here are described the methods of differential diagnosis of kidney, liver and pancreas neoplasms. Particular attention is given to kidney cysts - the most common liquid tumor of retroperitoneum. In details are described the importance and capability of ultrasound, computer tomography and magnetic resonance imaging. Here reports about indications and contraindications for the main treatment methods of kidney cyst — cyst puncture, sclerotherapy, endovideosurgery. The algorithm of the diagnosis and treatment of kidney cysts is presented
