Abstract
Research objective: to analyse the transformation of the role of nurses in the context of the introduction of 4P medicine (predictive, preventive, personalised, participatory) based on the practical experience of the multidisciplinary clinical and diagnostic centre EuroMedService.
Materials and methods: An analysis of international experience and Russian practice in personalised medicine was conducted, and educational programmes and competency models for nurses in the context of the 4P approach were studied. The study is based on the conceptual developments of Academician M.A. Paltsov of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the practical experience of introducing metabolomic technologies at the EuroMedService clinic in partnership with the Chromolab scientific and laboratory complex.
Results: Key areas of transformation in nursing practice have been identified: nurse case manager, treatment coordinator, nutritionist consultant. Specific competencies for working with metabolomic profiles, personalised dietary supplements, peptide therapy and comprehensive cancer rehabilitation programmes have been identified. The need to integrate managerial, clinical, and consulting functions into a single professional role was justified.
Conclusions: Personalised medicine radically expands the professional competencies of nurses, requiring a systemic transformation of educational programmes and the creation of new professional standards. Practical experience in the clinic demonstrates the effectiveness of an integrative approach to training nurses to work in the context of 4P medicine.
