Palliative medicine involves providing care to incurable patients. Death is an inevitable and natural end-of-life outcome that needs to be accepted by patients, relatives, and medical workers involved in providing palliative care. Doctors, relatives, and patients need support as well as destigmatization of death should be given attention. The article examines the problems faced by medical palliative care specialists and family members of dying patients as well as the experience of the Golden Care palliative care department in overcoming them.
