The article contains the necessary information on diagnostics and treatment of functional disorders of the digestive organs in children. It takes into account modern clinical recommendations prepared by leading russian specialists in the field of pediatric gastroenterology and data from the Rome IV criteria, which summarize foreign experience. The mechanism of development of functional disorders of the digestive organs is presented, and terminology is discussed. The article examines the diagnostic criteria and principles of treatment of functional disorders of the digestive organs in children, including early age (infantile colic, infantile dyschezia, functional abdominal pain, irritable bowel syndrome, etc.). In all cases, an algorithm of nursing measures is proposed, indications for examination and hospitalization of children are given.
