Officer, military doctor, teacher (On the 100th anniversary since the birth of G.Kh. Ripp)

A brief biography and an overview of the multilateral scientific and practical activities of the prominent scientist, organizer of the medical service, doctor of medical sciences, professor, participant in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945, colonel of the medical service Geshel Khononovich Ripp (1922–2003) are presented. For over 15 years, he headed the Department of Organization and Tactics of the Medical Service of the Military Medical Faculty at the Tomsk Medical Institute, was the founder of the Museum of the History of Military Medicine in Siberia, the Military Medical Faculty at the Minsk State Medical Institute.
