Abstract
The aim of the work was to evaluate the tactics of surgical treatment of traumatic aortic aneurysm using a clinical example. The frequency of deaths in patients with deceleration syndrome is very high - up to 80-90%. The initial serious condition of patients caused by polytrauma entails difficulties in diagnosis and selection of a rational method of surgical intervention. The treatment of these patients should be carried out in specialized hospitals with the capacity to provide high - tech medical care.
