To the history of the 736th Main center for state sanitary and epidemiological surveillance of the Ministry of Defense

The article is devoted to the history of creation and activity of the 736th Main center of the state sanitary and epidemiological surveillance of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. This multidisciplinary medical-preventive institution of the highest level is at the head of the system of sanitary-epidemiological formations of the Armed Forces and fulfills the tasks of organizing and conducting surveillance and sanitary-anti-epidemic (preventive) measures in the army and navy. The main stages of the development of the Center, achievements and directions of activity at the present stage are presented.
